I sent your FQs out today. I almost made a big booboo...I thought I had put 60-cent stamps on my envelopes, but inadvertently put regulars. Thank goodness I brought them to the post office with me when I went to mail FQs to our Canadian swappers. That's where I discovered the error of my ways.  Thank goodness I didn't just drop them in the mailbox.  The clerk at the post office said they would have been sent out 'with postage due'. Then you would have all been  at me!

Holly and sewhappie, Glad you like the fabric. When I was shopping, I found two very similar fabrics(one red, one green), and couldn't decide between the two, so I got a little of both. Some swappers will get red, and some will get the green. I received three beautiful FQs today, from Shari, Ann, and Fredia. Thanks ladies! This is my first FQ swap, so I am really excited!

I received some pretty fabric from Carman today. Thanks Carman. I just have one more to receive and I will be finished my first FQ swap. It has been great to receive all the different little packets. I have a question...Was I supposed to wash the fabric before I sent it?...because I didn't. Is there a rule about that?

Sorry, dh was supposed to take them to work to mail out (long story but my post office is infamous for loosing mail...) He forgot them. Grr. But they went out on the first so they are coming. I think I got everybody elses, THANKS, there was some great fabric there! I ditto the fabric bowl thing. I see bowls, lots of bowls (or maybe boxes hmmmm) I just got se excited to see them all come .

I have been enjoying reading all the swap exchanges... what excitement!! Since I am new to the site (and to quilting), I want to find out more about Swaps, before I do this. Later, I totally look forward to doing an exchange. I know absolutely nothing about this, so if anyone wants to tell me where to found out more, lead me there. "Hi" , On this swap we only exchange fat quarters of fabric. A theme is assisgned, you sign up with Carmen, she sends everyones address to you and then you send out the fabric you choose. We just got done with Christmas, now they are doing animals. It is fun. Watch the postings and sign-up for the next one. There is a new one every month.
