www.sewwhat.net/millie

www.sewing-machine-manuals.com you just need the # on your machine...I saw one on the site that used cams, but you didn't have a machine number on your post.

I have misplaced the manual for my Brothers LS1217. Somehow the setting got switched to zig-zag. I need to reset it to straight stitch. Can anyone tell me how to do this?

Thanks

Hi Sonatamom,

If there is no dial or switch to change from one stitch to another, then perhaps you have to set the width to 0 in order to sew a straight stitch. Hope this helps.
Take care,

Donna, thank you so much. It worked. I don't know why I changed the setting. I need to find my manual and learn how to use the machine. I haven't used it very much since I got it.

I have a Singer Golden Touch and Sew 750 that has been going strong since 1971. There are various sources around for manuals but www.singerco.com/accessories/manuals.html lists them all along with availability and price. Just another option.
