I really want to try the Summer Table Runner pattern which is posted on the projects section of the webpage. I purchased some cotton Christmas fabric but I don't think the fabric is strong enough on its own. What I mean is, I think I need some time of backing or lining. I was thinking about using a muslin or maybe batting or both. But the batting that is sold at a local shop here is too thick, it's more for quilts.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

I would appreciate it!

Thanks! :coffee2:
