I have my grandmother's sewing machine. I'd like to sell it, but I have no idea what it's worth. Is anyone interested in something like this? It's in a wood cabinet that has drawers and opens into a big table. It's knee operated, works well. good condition. My mother said the thread tension my need some adjustment, but I have no idea how to do that.
I tried to load a picture of it, (jpg) but the message I get is File type too large. I'm allowed 1 byte. LOL.
contact me at <email address removed for privacy> if you're interested.

Alex,

This sounds like one you should post on eBay. And, if so, do it regionally, or make sure you know the costs of shipping that big thing. There's a lot of interest in old machines on there because they really were made to last.

Thanks for the tip Nancy. I've posted it on Craigslist for 45.00 along with a stool in the Boston area.
It is a very sturdy machine. I haven't worked with Ebay yet, primarily because as you point out, I can't afford to ship it anywhere. I'll look into the
local posting idea.
Best regards. Alex
