If so, are they gimmicky, or do they actually work well? I saw them at Wal Mart yesterday, and was wondering if that would be a good choice for ribbons and rickrack etc. I just hate having to pin all the rickrack and trims in place and then sew slowly and remove the pins as I sew. I just finished putting rick rack around an circular applique on a baby blanket in this method, and I held my breath the whole time hoping I wouldn't get too "off" the circle. TIA! Jen in CA |

I don't have the ribbon wizzard but have heard they are nice. I have a ribbon & sequin foot for my machine & that works real well. Maybe you could get one for yours or try the wizzard ribbon. Just make sure it fits your machine as some need an adapter to use. Like for low or high shank. Theresa |

I have the elastic wizard and I use it to put single layer ribbons and trims on as well as elastic. I often use it to put elastic on the edges of sheets, etc. I don't know what I did without it. I just bought the quilt wizard but haven't tried it yet. Yes, they are gimicky, but if you are attaching lots of trims they are helpful. I wouldn't give mine back.

My dh bought me the elastic wizard and the ribbon wizard--what a sweetie! (not to mention the machine I sew on) lol! I can't wait to try them out!!! With 3 dds to sew for--I should be able to put them to good use. Thanks again for your help deciding! Jen in CA |
