I just finished this baby quilt for our dear friends. The front is a soccer ball embroidered with the words MVP 2004 El Torito (El Torito is their nickname for their new son) The colors are red, white, and green for the mexican flag. Dad is a soccer player, coach, and major fan. Back of the quilt is a preprinted panel with roads, and planes, and buildings, that the little boy can play on with his cars when he is big enough to sit. http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid141/pe43409d40f558f98b330d7e60aed70e7/f6c7f79e.jpg http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid141/pedd89a26d3414b80d91282c2ad8d75ea/f6c7f7a2.jpg -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jen in CA The mark of a true seamstress is not in her ability to sew, but in her tenacity to rip. |

Very cool looking. I have that same road map "panel" as you. I found it at Wal-Mart too. I think it's also in the Keepsake Quilting catalog (of course, with them it's a lot more a yard, I think it was $8, as compared with $4 ). Now, that's got me wanting to go and work on my cloth like that. Ticia |
