Hi ladies and Im sure some gents)

I hope this isnt against the rules.

We have a very similar forum in the UK www.lamdesign.co.uk click on discussion on the left and log in.

You have alot of similar discussions going on like the legal/illegal use of company named patterns for sale, selling on ebay etc.

Hope youll have a look.

There are very few "rules" on these boards.

The girls go where they feel welcome and comfortable. When new people come in and invite them away to other sites, it can be very interesting.

Mary,
Maybe we could persuade Magot to give us her opinion of that site.. I really don't like being solicited without your permission when I'm on here and so I don't look wherever they try to send me.. Maybe I am old fashioned that way.. I always left the dance with "the one who brung me" as the old saying goes..

I clicked just to check it out and it appears to be the site for a formal wear company, not like this at all.

I just went there and browsed the messages. They discuss much of the same as on this board. The main part of the web site is a professional dressmaker. This just points out the fact that we have something in common with people all over the world. I'm from the USA and that doesn't stop me from visiting this site which is run by Mary who is from Canada. I love visiting global sites with things in common that I like to do. The internet has made us a global sewing community. I like this site, plus there are others that I visit almost on a daily basis. I learn something from all of them, make new on-line friends and I try to contribute something useful when I can.

Happy Sewing/Surfing

I've not come across the site before but the lady seems very talented. I think I agree with Liz on the site, and I love you all! I'm very fond of our multi-national community and have learnt from you all.
