I have one of those stay guns, that you use to hold the layers together while you quilt.
WELL, the darn thing broke the needle. So I replaced it as the directions said to. Now the needle is wobbling all over the place, the metal part that slips over the needle to guide the plastic stays WILL NOT stay on, and the the needle will not push through the fabric and deposit the plastic stay.
Was this a waste of money, or is there a trick to this thing that I haven't figured out yet? The directions for the needle replacement really doesn't say much.
I have had it for almost a year now and haven't tried to play with it again until last night. That's when I thought about here to see if someone else has had this problem or if I am REALLY stupid with the darn thing.

I HATE THOSE THINGS. I took mine back and got the curved safety pins. Now I'm using the basting spray - love it!
