Ohio has become such a madhouse with EVERYONE coming here every other day to campigan that you can not even move around!!!! :bang: :bang: :bang: IT IS FRUSTRATING :bang: :bang: :bang: First Bush, then Kerry, then Chaney & Edwards lastnight!!! Then to top it off I think every famous person from Hollywood and New York has decided to come here to get support for the Canidates!!!! And then top it off with all the News Media!!!!! UGHHHHHHHHHHH!
You can't drive anywhere because roads are closed due to motorcades, there is Secret Service EVERYWHERE!!!!!! And they say it will not stop until the Elections.
Then to top it off, counties are reporting that they are showing more people registared than what actually live in a county!!!! 68 out of 88 counties have shown a major increase registrations. Now they have to go one by one through all of the registrations BEFORE the end of the month to make sure that they are all real people.
I don't think that Flordia will be the problem state this Election, it will be Ohio!!!!! :whacky: :whacky:

They reported last night that the City of Cleveland, who has laid-off a total of close to 700 combined police and firemen, just las year, has to pay $270.000.00 just for police protection last Tuesday night!!!!!!!! If the City can't pay to keep these people on the payroll for regular duty, then how the "H" are they suppose to pay for the added security that the city has to provide for these debates!!!!!! They aren't allowed to collect over-time any more!!!!!
I truly think that WOMEN WOULD DO A BETTER JOB RUNNING THE COUNTRY!!!!

I'm a bit of a political junkie -- I love it.
You should be pleased your vote counts if you live in a swing state.
Of course our vote counts -- if we don't vote New York could be a swing state in some future election -- but since there is no question we will go Democrat, the candidates stay away and we miss all the fun.

Sewhappie, I'm not much of a fan either

[warning - political view following]
We're conservatives living in a very liberal valley - so much so that cars displaying Republican bumper stickers are being vandalized, as well as Republican candidate signs (several large ones hacked apart with chainsaws, others stolen, etc - made the front page of both newspapers).

It's disheartening to think that people stoop to such behavior when they disagree with your views. I don't like being afraid to express my support for a candidate, but on the other hand I have an new Avalanche truck I don't want messed up...already I can't even park it on the street (anti-SUV activists egg it along with neighbors' SUVs). Neither do we want our house to become a target for vandalism.

I can't wait til this is over...
