I'm putting together a 'wish list' for husband, and want to know if anyone can recommend a good magazine about quilting (contemporary/art quilts) or sewing or both would be grand. I'm self taught at everything, and would love some reading resources. I would also take some book recommendations if there are ones out there folks swear they couldn't do without!

Threads is the sewing bible in my opinion.

It all depends on what you like to sew and quilt.

Yes, yes, I just saw that one yesterday while browsing Amazon, it looked wildly funky and informative...I noted that one immediately. Glad to hear that it's a good one. Thanks Mary.
