So Happy soon to be Thanksgiving everyone . Got any big plans for the weekend. The kids are out of school tommorow as well as Monday. So that is nice. We are staying home. I bought a big Turkey for supper on Sunday or Monday (doesn't really matter which since it is just us.) Then we will have stuffing, mashed potatoes, maybe some peas and of course pumpkin pie. Was going to make the pie this afternoon. Sher My website

Happy Thanksgiving Sherri. We are having ours on Monday, the kids all have to go to the in-laws Sunday for a meal. We are having tossed salad, cheeses, pickles, cranberry sauce, turkey, stuffing, gravy, mashed potatoes, veggies and a couple of pies for desserts. There should be 11 of us. MaryW

Maybe I should visit my Canadian relatives this week end for their Thanksgiving, So I can have two this year. Some of my relatives do that, they have one in Canada than come to Michigan to have one with us.

Well, It's a while yet, but my daughter in New York called last night about our Thanksgiving. It's going to be a tough one, The first without my mother-in-law. So my daughter went out and bought tickets to see the Rockettes show that weekend. So we are pretty excited about that. Dorothy |

Hear, hear! A Happy Thanksgiving to all Canadians from me too. Here's how pathetically ignorant I was: I knew the date was different, but didn't realize that the traditional food was the same on both sides of the border! Embarrassing! We are so lucky as to live just up the canyon from a woman who has to be the best cook in Utah, if not the Universe. We always get invited to her house for Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner, and she always sends us home loaded with leftovers. I'm not a bad cook, but can't hold a candle to my friend Maureen. Ditto the tribute to Mary! |
