My machine is not picking up the bobbin thread! I am not familiar with the machine I am using so I dont know if the bobbin tension has been fooled with. The machine uses a metal pop in bobbin. Can someone help me figure out what I can do to correct this problem? Thanks a million! Melissa

when mine gets a bit temperamental about picking up the bobbin thread then I take off the needleplate and give it a good clean as it is generally fluff that is gumming up the works.

You may not have it threaded correctly..some go clockwise and others counter clockwise..you didn't say what machine it is...it's always easier to give help if we know what kind of machines they are.
