Dear Sir:

I have a brother sewing machine model vx-710. I use it several times. Yesterday I tried to start a new project, but I can't pull out lower thread, so I can't sew  . Do you know what's wrong and how to fix the problem? Thank you very much.

Take out your bobbin case and see if it is locking up on your thread. If it is, take your bobbin out clip off a few inches and put it back in (you could have it somehow wrapped or knotted the thread inside the bobbin case). It if still is too tight, you may need to loosen the tension just a little bit.
