The darn weatherman. Last night he told us that it would rain all day and be chilly. Well, he was right. Tonight he told us we will have high winds and snow tomorrow. Sometimes I wish they would keep it to themselves and not tell us. I think they should just tell us the good stuff, sunny and warm.

For the past 5 yrs I haven't needed to watch the weather on t.v....my husband collected and analyzed weather for the government...whether I need to know the weather or not...I got daily and or weekly reports. I know more about weather, patterns, fronts, clouds, etc. than I EVER in my life wanted to know about....I've learned to say, " I can look outside and tell what the weathers gonna be, please don't tell me about other states, countries and next week..it's too much information."

I know the feeling. The weatherman I hear on TV lives just a couple of houses down from me. If you see him outside he looks to the sky and tells you what the weather is going to do. I just don't need to hear snow right now.

I used to live in Homestead. So now when I hear Hurricane. I watch the weather channel to see where its going. My daughter still lives in Homestead and I have a sister in Tampa and one in Lorida. I guess I am just getting too much information about the weather and sit up here worrying about Florida.

I think the whole problem is I'm not working right now so I am listening to the TV more than I ever have.

A friend of mine owns and insurance agency and sponsored the weather on a local radio station for several years. After each broadcast they would announce "Today's weather was brought to you by The Kilborne Agency."
After one particularly bad winter he quit the sponsorship. Everywhere he went people in this small town would yell at him about the nasty weather he was bringing them.

See...thats it !!! we all have to live with the weather, but we don't have to hear about it all the time....I guess it wouldn't be so bad if EVERYONE would agree on the weather, but if you have 5 t.v.stations they ALL have different weather predictions....(and no one agrees with the weather channel....)
I also find it strange that the weather channel would send their people out INTO the bad/worst weather and then make them stand there and film it....
It's goofy.....
