Does that mean you have time now? I remember baking a cake for my daughter's third birthday - she wanted Humpty Dumpty so I baked 2 cakes in pudding basins and skewered them together with cocktail sticks. I then sat Humpty on a wall made of a slab cake with bricks iced on it. Humpty himself was covered with coloured fondant icing ( blue trousers, white shirt, face painted onto white with food colouring and arms and legs made thin out of fondant icing) I was proud, my daughter was delighted and I laughed when she told me Humpty fell off the wall as I had my back turned. Sure enough, there was Humpty on the floor! Did he jump or was he pushed - the jury is still out. I made the wall smaller and skewered Humpty back to it again and all was well. Humpty was huge - after the party there was enough left to take him to church to share or we would have been eating scrambled egg for a fourtnight! Then there was the cake in the shape of a dragon covered in chocolate buttons for scales - all went well until the sparkler in his mouth started to melt his face... love and kisses, Jan

Apparently this fondant stuff is great for creating. Dave, don't even think of poking your face in here. MaryW
