Please forgive the whining, but my heart hurts so bad. My son who is in the military, is in Washington DC demostrating what he calls the "The Army's New Toys" and we went to see him. We are back now and I just miss him so much. I know how lucky I am that he made it back from Iraq, but I still just plain miss him. He smelled so good.I just needed to express this out loud.

Holly my heart goes out to you. My DH is in the military (due to separate in March) so I understand a little of what you are going through. I 've not had to see him go into foreign territory, but I do worry about him every day that he works. I have good friends with husbands in Iraq and I pray for them daily. There is nothing at all wrong with missing your child! :)

Much Love & God Bless,
Monique
