DH, an electrician, has been working on a hospital remodel for the last 10 months. Yesterday he found out that the whole job is being shut down a week from Friday, per the hospital's new CEO (nothing to do with his company, the general contractor, etc - client financial issues I guess). So I was doing okay with that, cuz I know we'll get by...he can always do service work, there's enough of that during offseason & the holidays...but he's still bumming... And then I found out this morning that my friend Ann, who I worked with at the nursing home, was killed in a car accident on Sunday afternoon, along with her life partner Melissa. Apparently they swerved to avoid some deer and went thru the guard rail, rolling down into the river. Neither was wearing a seatbelt
