Need some help. I am making paper pieced Christmas stockings. I have one done, EXCEPT the lining. I have sewn a separate muslin (with batting) stocking to use a liner, now am having a problem figuring out how to attach to the stocking??? I just keep messing it up. Any hints or ideas to do this?? I know you all know the way, I just can't get it!

This is the way --if you are going to have a cuff on the top.. Lay front and back out RST-- They lay 2 linings either on top of this or bottom... Stitch all around except top of stocking... Clip curves, turn and press..
Step 2-- sew short sides of cuff together, fold long sides in half with WST-- insert in stocking and with hanger inserted between cuff and stocking-- Stitch all around --- Grab cuff and fold to outside, the hanger loop will be where it belongs and your stocking is all finished... :bg: :bg:
