I've been getting questions regarding whether to cut off or leave on selvages so thought I would post some info here for any newbies into the home dec sewing. We always cut of the selvages before stitching panels together. By doing this, it will relax the fabric and help keep it from "shorten" up on the seam. Another tip is to use a longer stitch length as this will also keep the seam from puckering up. Happy Sewing to all! Martha www.mar-csinteriors.com Martha
