If anyone has knowledge of any sewing freebies, let's post them here.

I know that www.ottobredesign.com has free patterns on their site.

I also know Joann's had a 40% off coupon emailed out to subscribers.

You can get bonus coupons from Joann's by subscribing to e-mail and snail mail. I get at least two 40% off coupons a month for instore use plus a bunch of online discounts.
I found this great freebie today. http://www.hgtv.com/hgtv/cr_quilting_instructions/article/0,1789,HGTV_3302_2758344,00.html
OK so this was wierd. I was searching for the free bog coat pattern that I used last winter and lo and behold my search lead me right back to Sew What's New, the post where I learned about the pattern in the first place.
Anyway here is the link to the pattern. http://www.sewingconnection.com/hartwarm.pdf

Another great place for freebie patterns is www.quickquilts.com They have many free quilt patterns as well as table toppers, placemats, etc. Be sure to click on the left side for about 40 different freebies. Of course there is also www.joanns.com, www.pbtex.com, www.total.net/~lours/welcome.html -free mens pattern. I will have to check my favorites for more freebies. Oh yes, there is also http://www.qorsite.com - they have several freebie quilt patterns for many uses. Sew Happy Jonell
