What does the term "fussy cut" mean?? I am really lost here.. I have had no formal training, just got a book a few years ago & started in' But when I see some of these terms that are used I haven't a clue what they mean or how to do them...I know you ladies here can help me... Nita |

Nita, Fussy cutting is cutting an image out of a piece of fabric, such as a carrot or a musical note. It means cutting the object itself out of the fabric, leaving little or no fabric around the object. Susie northern NY

Or if it's large scale fabric, making sure what you want is in the 'square' of fabric you're gonna use. Some people cut a square (the size of the fabric you need) with just the 'frame' (no middle) and put it in different places around the fabric to see what part you want.
