So I cleaned up a little project I took on a few weeks ago.

And then some cocobolo pens. The wood doesn't smell great when you cut it, but these are probably some of the nicest pens I've made yet.

Taking orders for x-mas now
I'm lucky I survived moms cooking :p

Looks great, interesting projects. I've never worked with wood, it must be nice to work with something so 'natural'...if that's a good word to describe wood.

Very impressive Dave. Mary, I second that comment; I'm actually looking for a nice salt grinder myself and that one is very much to my liking. Do you think Dave might start a small business soon?

No mom, that's Speardakes X-Mas present, made from Maple that was in his back yard.
I did locate salt mill mechanisims, but I have yet to pick any up.
I am prepared to sell a few items, mills and pens. If anyone is interested just pm me. I have a stash here, pens made of curly ash, cherry, purple heart, cocobolo, rosewood, walnut and some other types of wood. Pens I can make just about any color, also as a pen/mechanical pencil set. The mills I don't have as easy access to all types of wood for blanks. Most of you got to see the mill I made for dad, I think it works well in the kitchen.
