I KNEW HOW TO SEW VERY WELL AS A CHILD (WHICH WAS 20 YRS AGO) ANYWAY, MY HUSBAND BOUGHT ME A USED, VERY OLD MACHINE TO LEARN ON BEFORE WE INVESTED ALOTT OF MONEY INTO ONE. I AM DOING OK EXCEPT FOR 1 THING, I CANNOT REMEMBER HOW TO MAKE THE BOBBIN. COULD SOMEONE PLEASE TRY TO EXPLAIN. I KNOW IT WILL BE HARD WITHOUT BEING ABLE TO SEE MY MACHINE THOUGH. THANKS FOR ALL YOUR HELP! |

my machine has a small pin that the bobbin fits on, and then a little lever to push towards the bobbin, you pull out the flywheel to disengage the sewing needle, I think some of them turned counter clockwise(about one quarter of a turn) to disengage the needle part when you loaded the bobbin. On mine you thread the thread from the spool to the first keeper then in to the area of the bobbin and wrap it a few times around the bobbin and hold the end and then use your foot pedal to wind your bobbin and the little lever will pop-out when the bobbin is full. Don't know if this will help you or not but maybe it will give you some idea, being as I don't know what kind of a mchine you have or really how old it is. Mine's a Kenmore at 30 + years. |
