Today I sewed up a very pretty knit. It is a nice Wedgewood blue with some very interesting surface texture. Anyway, I made a V neck top from Jalie # 2005 with short sleeves. I bought a remnant and barely had enough. Squeezed it out of a yard and I added 2" because I like my tops a little longer.

This pattern made up in about 45 minutes and fits like a dream. With the lacy knit it turned out rather dressy. I am going to make up another, possibly cut it out tonight. :bg: I love it when I find something that looks nice and doesn't take half your life to make.

If you make this, go up a size, they are rather snug. The pattern has 24 sizes included with a boat neck, V neck and round neck. Also short and 3/4 sleeves.
