I am making a jacket out of fleece for my grandaughter. Do I need to use interfacing? Thanks for you help. JE Jay

I've never used interfacing with fleece, but I have found that you have to be careful not to stretch it while you are sewing, especially if you are putting in a zipper. I think that's the only time I would consider interfacing is along the zipper so it doesn't stretch. Happy sewing!

Nancy Zieman uses Fusi-Knit. I made a button front top without stabilizer and the garment doesn't hang right. I would recommend adding Fusi-Knit. Happy Stitching! Marty It takes one moment to change a life.

What heat setting are you using on your iron for fusi-knit and fleece -- and how long can you hold it down without imprinting your iron on the fleece? nancy |
