I spent the ay with my sister this past Saturday. I don't think that we have ever laughed so hard as we did then. We have found a cousin from my moms side of the family who is doing her grandfathers ( my step-grandfather) family tree. Well since he was married to my Grandmother for many years we have found old pictures that "Mema" had kept over the years. Mema was ALWAYS making notes on things about something or other!! Well we are glad that she did this as we have now been able to trace her family back to my 4th Great Grandfather!!!! And talk about family resembalance, oh my word can we ever see it in these pictures that date back to the 1800's!!!!!
It's funny how we always see shows or hear stories about the 1800's and the early 1900's, but when you see pictures of your family members, it gives it a whole new life.
