I have to share a recent experience for me as it speaks to my heart. I recently had the honor of making a burial gown for an angel, a preemie who did not make it into this world. Along this journey I found a wonderful organization, Newborns in Need.

The organization and other similiar organizations, provides clothing to newborns and preemies that are in need of clothing, blankets, stuffed toys, baby care items, and as stated above burial items.

My own sister was a preemie and my parents were unable to find suitable clothing for her so I was so pleased at the number of free patterns available on the web today.

It is so hard for families to find clothing for smaller babies that it is a wonderful service to have a charity that is able to provide these items to families free of charge.

I purchased patterns from the newbornsinneed.org site as I specifically wanted a pattern for a 8 oz. baby and they were the only one I found that offered one and I knew the cost of the pattern helps the non-profit charity. They also have free patterns.

I speak mostly of the clothing but they need other items as well including warm blankets for babies of all sizes.

I would encourage anyone to make a charity project because there is no better feeling than knowing you helped make life better in your own little way.

Please consider visiting the site.
