If you can help this lady, please respond here. Thanks. I need a pattern for my 10 yr. old granddaughter. She is wanting to make a reversible stocking with a cuff and loops to hang this, but I cannot find the pattern or anyone who knows how to make one of these. This is her Christmas present to her Mom. Thanks for any and all help in this matter. Denise MaryW

That sounds like a novice request.. (way too complicated, for a beginner).. Why not do this instead?? Make a regular stocking, but do NOT make a back and front.. Instead, make 2 fronts.. and when you want the other front to show , just flip it and hang the "other" front to show.. That would be so much less complicated to construct..

I made a Christmas stocking for my youngest granddaughter a couple of years ago, although not reversible, I purchased scraps of white "fur" and used left over red velvet, then cut her name out of white felt and glued it on with craft glue. Perhaps make a duplicate stocking and then attach it at the top only placing enough fur, or whatever for the band on the top that will be both inside and out. |
