Getting out all the Christmas decorations and just thought I'd pop in and share one of my favorite from scraps:

roll leftover yarn into balls

rip scraps of christmas fabrics approx 1" wide and as long as you can

wind one or more designs of the strips around your yarn balls

stack in a basket or just let set on a table, etc.

I have mine on top of my treadle machine

Could be just a country design or other holiday

Good Day!

Thanks mamagoose.

Another idea is to gather up handfuls of branches. Keep them about 12" long. Wrap them up like a bundle of firewood with a strip of Christmas fabric too. They can go on a mantle of side table.
