Did any pattern company ever make patterns for those of us that are over 5'10" and up? Are there any out there now that make them for us? I would love to be able to buy a pattern that I didn't have to re-fit length wise. |

I've never seen any. I just use a regular pattern and add inches. I find it annoying when petite women complain about the lack of clothing for their size. JC Penneys, etc, have a huge petite section in their store. When's the last time you saw a tall section in any store? Raine |

I have seen a TALL section in our local JC Penney, ONLY to have it pulled out when they thought no one was buying from it, it wa s ALWAYS being moved to different parts of the store!!!!!! Then we do have a Tall Gals shop in Cleveland, but they have a very POOR selection and sizes and the prices are TOO HIGH!!!!! Even when you add on to the pattern, you still have to figure out just how much MORE fabric you will need and you can still end up with either not enough or too much!!!!! So are we really saving money making our own clothes??? Sometimes I wonder |
