Congrats! You forgot to tell us if it's a boy or a girl, and what the little one's name is. We want details! :bluesmile

Okay, just looked back and saw that he's a boy, so still I want to know a name.

 He's a boy ! born at 8:42 pm, Nov 30, 7lbs 6oz, James Isaac to be known as Jamie :re: (my mother in law does not like it much but ... too bad, hubby picked the other three's names so this one is mine :bluewink: ) It is also the same name as Jimmy Neutron (nick kids cartoon) my 7 year old thinks that is really cool!

Labour wasn't too bad, better part of a day but the delivery was really quick, they had to pull up the Emerg doc b/c my ob didn't make it. Of course the ER doc is someone I went to med school with!! Lovely living in a small town! :bg:

But he's cute and the other three kids seem to like him so far (even the two year old but that could change!!)

Very cool. Thanks for all the added details, when I'm sure you're feeling swamped.
Sounds like you got some really cool kids. I agree with everyone else, I like Jamie.

Congrats from me too. I also love the name Jamie, named one of my daughters that after her Dad. She has always loved her name.

Ditto here on the congrats. I had three boys, love the boys. The little girls are something else. I have four Granddaugthers. Different, Different, Different. Like I said I love my boys. Easier I think. Good luck and I like the name also.

I hope he will like his name, if not he can change it at age 18  girls are definately different from boys, my daughter is high maintenance compared to the boys, oh well... she knows what she wants, ALL the attention! You'd think she'd be used to sharing it by now since she has been the "middle child" for over 2 years now. There won't be anymore sibs, to her relief, we've used up all the seats in the van

Hi Jeanette, congrats - it's tempting to say that your daughter won't ever get used to sharing but I am not believing that! How are you feeling nearly 2 weeks in? I asssume it is everybody elses job to 'do Christmas' this year.
Your turn to sit and be like Mary
How does she look so serene in all those cribs scenes with a half naked child surrounded by c**p?
I saw a great one the other day, child laying, half naked as usual in a bucket of hay, Joseph ,hands clasped, staring beneficently at the roof, sheep nosing the baby aside to get some hay and Mary, arms wide spread leaning forward with a look of "Get that sheep off my Baby before I turn it into lamb chops!!!!"
love and kisses, Jan

Well... I had 90% of the shopping done prior to Jamie's arrival, I just didn't trust dh to shop for the kids! We are heading to his Mum's house for the holidays, it's a 6 hr drive but once we are there I don't have to do anything, I'm sure she has all meals etc planned and shopped for already!
And except for the sleep deprivation (which sadly I'm quite used to now b/c of the other kids) I'm feeling pretty good.
So my only thing to do now is to figure out how to pack one minivan with 6 people and lots of presants! Maybe a few articles of clothing in there somewhere! :re:
Merry Christmas!!

Maybe with some luck, Grandma will have itchy fingers and want to spend time with the baby and it will let you get caught up on some sleep ( that would depend on if you are nursing also.)
