im currently working on a quilt and have some green cotton fabric. well the only thing different is on the front of it its really shiney almost looks like a coating on the fabric. it cant be ironed and its gotten pretty wrinkled! i tried on a piece i was not useing to put a towel over it so that not so much heat was hitting it but it streched the material and now its all wavy! i was almost thinking of taking it out of the quilt! would that be the best idea? because there would be no way i could wash the quilt in the future without it distorting it! what do u guys think? i would like some other advice before i go ripping seams apart lol |

If it were me, and it isn't, I'd probably take it out of the quilt. It sounds like a fabric that would shorten the healthy life of your quilt and you never know who might end up with the quilt in the future and not know how to care for it.
