I am attempting to make pajamas for my eldest daughter. I have this really cute sweatshirt fleece that I want to use but she likes button up the front pajamas. This fabric has very little stretch, so I am going to attempt to use a blouse pattern. Is their anything special I should do to make it work better? Thanks! Gina

I've done some fleese type things for my granddaughter. Most of the patterns I have used have had small squares of velcro with an "x" across the center (I think that sewing around was enough, the x may be just for dec.) I would be a little bit concerned that button holes would not hold as well. If you put grippers on them they might tear through, but if you used gripper tape it would probably do well too. If the fabric is bulky, you may want to make it just a little larger.

Make sure the sleeves are large enough.. If you notice on pj's , the sleeves are usually a little larger than blouse sleeves, for comfort.. Maybe use an extra piece of interfacing under the buttonholes..
