I asked a few questions about what would be the best book for a new~bee... I was given 2 titles...Essential Guide to Sewing, by Nancy Ziemen and Sewing 101.. Well after doing some online searching I was about to win a bid for the book by Nancy Zieman...All for $3.66! That includes shipping!! Yipee!! Talk about excited!! Can't wait for it to come in the mail~ Just had to share my great news!! Now maybe I can get the other for Christmas! mgf Blessings & Smiles

The other thing that I've found is great is buying books used from Amazon, I've gotten some really cool stuff that way. Ticia |

I never had a book when I was learning. I used to study each pattern sheet with directions for hours on end. I sewed for my kids and that gave me loads of experience on different fabrics and methods for pants, vests, jackets, etc. I guess it is all according to what you need to learn. MaryW
