Do you have some old clothes that fit that you could tear up and use as patterns?

No trouble - I had come across the site during a surf-the-web-session for larger ladies "stylish" patterns.

Thank you all. I too have a taller husband, he is 6'7 and weighs 290. I have never sewn for him, but I have knitted his sweaters. I have always had to custom knit for him and patterns for knitting were never long enough, most of his height is torso. He and I have opposite problems, I can't find things short enough as I am only 5'0.

Thanks again.
