 I had to put another of my ferrets to sleep yesterday....Thats 3 in just over a year...this one was just over a year old..his name was Harry....the smartest ferret we've ever had...they all had different types of cancer....ya know...I really could use a break now....too much sickness and death... Ya spend all that time and effort on a silly little animal to just have'em break your heart....sometimes I think I can't do it...till I see another one..and then theres Bob (ferret#4 who's lost 3 of his friends)...whos gonna be 5 soon and he needs a friend...::heavy sigh::

I hope that this isn't bad for me to say..... have you ever heard that deaths come in 3's?? I know that is very common, in a weird way. I'm sorry you had to put one of your babies down....I just love my little "girls" 2 chihuahuas, Pearl & Dobie.... I hope that Bob finds some new friends soon.... Hugs to you~ mgf~

real bummer Chrys. It was 4 years ago tonight that we had to put our 12-1/2 year old little girl to sleep after a couple week of surgery, etc. because some "idiot" in our neighborhood kicked her and hurt her. It took me a long time before I stoped missing her and crying about it but now we have another little girl for the last 3 years and man is she a spoiled "brat" of a different kind. LOL Patsy Patsy
