what is the right way of sewing the crouch and the inside of pants.... i made this realy nice pj piece but once i put it on it just didn't fit right...... I need help

I sew the front pieces together, then the back pieces and check the fit. After that I sew the side seams and then the inseam as one long seam. Be sure to clip your curves and add an elastic waist last after the legs are hemmed. Happy Stitching!
