I have looked EVERYWHERE! I need help on how to rethread the bobbin in an old singer touch and sew model 645. It was my grandmothers. I now have a grandchild and what to use the machine for basic sewing.

Does anyone remember this machine and if so, can you help!?
Thanks Much

You can find lots of help at Terry's Touch-N-Sew Site (http://www.geocities.com/tf43/).

My Touch and Sew 750 machine winds the bobbin in place. There is a button to the left of the bobbin. Press this button to the left to engage it in winding position. Wrap thread around the presser foot screw and hold end of thread firmly. Run the machine at a moderate speed. Pull thread end away after a few coils have been wound. Close slide plate to release push button to sewing position. I'm not familiar with the 645 model, but suspect that the "Touch and Sew" technology is similar.
