Did anyone take in the huge JoAnn sale this weekend?? I think it is still on today (Sunday).
The Simplicity patterns were on for 99 cents~ I picked up 15 new one that I have been waiting to get. I also got some thread, it was 50% off, lots of fabric, the Christmas stuff was 70% off (Xmas fabric too) and there was lots and lots o fabric for $1, $2, $3, $4 & $5 a yard!
I drove to Dallas to visit my sister and we made a day of shopping!! It was lots of fun! The store we went to was a super store and believe me it was!! It was very nice as well!!
Just had to share!!
Hope you all had a nice New Year Day!

I took DD (13) tonight. She bought 5 patterns for skirts & tops. She has decided to wear more skirts YEAH!!! & she bought 2 pieces of fabric. I bought 9 patterns 2 for me, 2 crafts for gifts & 5 different PJ patterns with all sizes included from Childs size 4 - xl men's. I also needed more white cone thread. It wasn't on sale but Iwas almost out. I'm sure it will be on the next sale since I bought it now. I was good & stayed away from the fabric since my New Years reselution is to cut my stash down by at least 1/2.

I didn't make it to JoAnn's but I got to WalMart and spent on the 1.00 table which was full of good fabric for a change. I got a few yards of fabric to make the girls some skirts, and a couple of yards to make the babies little dresses, also. But they will have to wait until this shower is over with. I'm working like a little bee again making baby clothes. Be careful for what you wish for ladies, I wanted a baby to sew for I didn't know my prayers would be answered double fold. Two babies and girls to boot. But I really don't mind. Now I have 5 girls to sew for which is great since I had all boys of my own.

It's a good thing my New Years Resolution wasn't to stay out of the fabric stores! I had the chance to shop 4 Jo-Ann stores over the weekend and found a little something at each one. I like to shop their bargin fabric section as this is where I find the unique stretch fabrics I need for my business. With the holidays it had been almost a month since setting foot into a fabric store! I left much more relaxed and satisfied. :) Therapy for the New Year.

Oh I took in some fabric from Walmart too~ :nah:
Got lots to make some of those crochet hook cases for my crocheting girlfriends, some other sewing organizers, a jumper and a few outfits for DD.
Most I got for less that $2 a yard!
I never thought I would enjoy fabric buying but I do!!
