I must be doing something wrong! I went to the pattern sites to choose a few patterns to pick up at our local store so that I did not have to spend more time than was necessary at the counter. I was only able to pick one up that I wanted because the no.s I chose on the pc were not in the pattern books at the store(like Burda) for intance, the re were 5 digits on the pat. and no such thing at the store. Can someone please enlighten this old gal? |

I'm not sure about Burda because I haven't ever used those, but I did recently go online and select lots of Simplicity and McCall patterns and when I went to select them at the store I was able to go and find the patterns I wanted using those numbers. Maybe you were looking at a specific site that sold those pattern and listed them under their "own" numbers...that is my only guess. Maybe someone else will be able to further enlighten you~good luck! mgf~ ![]() Blessings & Smiles

MGF......I also chose some patterns on the pc that were Vogue and McCalls and was able to get a couple of those that were in my store but no luck on the Burda. I just checked on the same web page and they still list them with 5 digit no.s yet they are not in the store. Funny also is the same site has a Burda pat. with a 5 digit no. that I gota few days earlier at my local fabric store with a totally diff. 4 digit no. Am I losing it or what? |

Perhaps looking in the wrong spot? For example 1. go the Young Fashion 2. select the first one [asymmetrical dresses] 3. If you look at the number 29604bur - that is sewingpatterns.com's item number to buy the pattern NOT the pattern number 4. select "click here" and a pdf comes up 5. there you go - pattern number 8309 Hope this helps..... |

Auzzi.....You are ![]() fully become friends with this machine(pc) no matter how much my son tries to educate me on what it can do. We had a sale at the locale fabric store and had I but known how to bring up the numbers as you so kindly explained, I would have bought the ones I wanted at a price much lower than normal. (Next time!) Thank you. NanCee |
