Oh good grief. Now there is one for the books. LOL. If you have a pattern for tights and a T shirt pattern, perhaps that would be a start. MaryW

Did you check out pajama patterns? You may be able to find one & adapt it for long johns. I joined some store bought ones for my husband years ago & put a zipper in the front of the top. He wore it for years. You may be able to adapt the pattern that way.

does he have a pair already? You could trace a pattern off from them to make the new ones.

boogalooz, I went to Hancocks today to buy McCalls patterns for $1.99. ( now thru the 9th) and while I was flipping thru the boys and mens part of the book, I found a unionsuit pattern.. It does not have the drop down flap, but I bet you could improvise a way to do it like that if he so desires..It buttons up the front just like the ones my Grandfather used to wear .. He had his own business and spent a lot of time in the woods, so he wore them all winter..The pattern number is McCalls 3860 if you are interested.. Now is the time to get it, if you have a Hancocks near you.. Some Hancocks are selling these for $ . 99 .. but I'm not lucky enough to be near one of those.. I ran into a friend and her Mom had been to the one in her city, purchased all she could find, and called her DD to find the ones her store was out of.. When I left there, I had spent $48.51 and saved over $ 70.00.. I felt that was a pretty good trip.. Sew With Love
