I've recently started sewing. I alredy have a singer sewing machine but I want ot buy a serger to complement it.

I live in the UK (London) can anyone give me advice on a good quality serger that is likely to last and that has as many features as possible (I am prepared to spend up to $700 if it's going to last a long time).

I've been told that pfaff and singer are the best makes but I am not sure the people in the singer shop were being impartial...

So any advice on any specific models that would be suitable will be much appreciated.

Many thanks,
Dina

Hi Dina,
I'm new to all of this, too. Go to the Forum called "Sergers" and post your question on it. Lots of nice 'sergeaholics' to give you advice there. Good Luck!
