Hi! I'm new to the forum and a beginner sewer/serger. I'm looking for an easy pattern to make a tote bag. If anyone has any ideas, please share? Thanks. I've found a few on the net, but just wondering if anyone has a favorite. Thanks! |

Thanks for the link...I checked it out and it looks like something I could do! Right now I have some double sided quilted material, so I'm trying to figure out a pattern that I can use with that. Thanks for your 2 cents! |

I looked at a pattern the other day in McCalls book.. It had pockets on outside of the bag all the way around.. It is perfect for the double sided quilted material.. In fact I bought some material to make myself one.. It is very bright with primary colors on white background.. One side is...are you ready??? FROGS... and the other side just has same colors in a geometric pattern..I can't wait to start on it..

military mom... if you look in the project gallery at Threadstop, you'll see some examples of totes made with that pattern and quilted fabric... Its very easy and works up no problem... just my 2 cents... MO life is too short, not to explore
