We will be having a basic pant lesson here on the site. Before we all dive into making pants, we need to measure ourselves. Also, get some of that bargain table fabric for a muslin. We don't want to make all sorts of changes, etc. on our best fabric. With a muslin you should have one inch seam allowances so you can make easy adjustments. Measuring is an important step, a very important step. Get yourself a good measuring tape that doesn't stretch. You will need a good friend or relative to measure you in your underwear and pantyhose if you will be wearing them. MaryW

I will jump in here. The measurements are listed in the first lesson which is posted now. When you purchase some fabric to make your first pair, be sure to get fabric that is pant weight fabric. Unbleached cotton, or muslin, is generally too light and will not hang correctly so it is harder to see how the pants fit. Julie
