It will be a square when you have it done. Than just sit it aside and wait for February. After all 12 are done, Joanne will thell us how to put them together. Hope this helps.

Hi Linda, please join us in making this. We will be making 12 blocks all together. Each month is a new block, then I will teach you how to do sashing, borders, etc. Just take a deep breath and start slow and don't let it overwhelm you. I am here for your questions, etc. :bluesmile

Thank you Carolyn :)

Try the block and each successive one! If you read the directions well and lay out your pieces it will begin to make sense. And each block gets easier! I still remember feeling confused making my very first quilt-it was a log cabin-but by the time I got a couple blocks done it got easier and when I got it all together, WOW! the lightbulb went on and it all made sense! So just hang in there and enjoy the lessons! Quilting allows you to be as creative as you want and if you look at the pictures we've all posted you'll see we have some very creative people here!

Welcome!
