My brother in law that I have posted about before was in the hospital over New Years They thought he had a blockage in his intestine again that they could clean out but when they ran test they found another tumor pressing on his small bowel. It is inoperable so now they are just keeping him comforatable. They gave him 1-2 months. He is only 58 yrs. old & has always taken very good care of himself. My sister is having a hard time (I don't blame her). They did everything together & are so much in love I don't know how she is going to make it. We have a very close family but I don't think we can replace what they have.

Now my youngest sisters husband was in over the weekend. They thought he was having a heart attack. He is 38, Diabetic & has high blood pressure. They lost their health ins. when he went to work for himself & her hrs. got cut at work. They ran some tests & said things were normal but they wanted to run more tests on monday. He left the hospital against medical advice & went to his own DR. today. They are going to do a nucliar(sp.) stress test the first of Feb. ($2000). They think he has the beginnings of coranary heart disease.
My Mother in Law won't go back for her regular check ups. She thinks she know more about her diabetes than the DRs. She can hardly walk anymore & has very little circulation in her legs. There is no reasoning with her, her kids have all tried talking to her, yelling at her & ignoring her when she complains. nothing works. She won't let anyone go into the DR. with her when she goes to get the real story. She only tells us what she wants us to know.

I hope the rest of the year gets better. I don't think it could get much worse.
At least we do have a graduation, & 2 weddings to look foward to this summer.
Please if you have extra time keep us in your prayers.

Some good news. BIL is now getting IV fluids overnight which makes him able to get up & move around by himself a little during the day. He was so dehydrated that his muscles were shutting down. They stil have no treatment but at least his last days can be a little more bearable.
Other BIL is doing OK. DS just found out they are changing her job for on call to permenant parttime so she can get benifits (she will have to pay) & his test will be covered then.
We have finally gotten an offer on my Dad's house. Not as much as we were asking but a decent offer. My brother accepted it (with our approvel) so maybe that will be 1 worry off of everyones mind. it was costing us about $200 a month with taxes , utilities & ins. This money couldn't come at a better time for most of us Dad is watching out for us even now.
Thanks for thinking of us.

My brother in law passed away this morning @ 2:30 AM. He was at home with his wife & son. He had a very good weekend. He even balanced the checkbook & sorted mail. Tues he was cold all day & had the hiccups. He got restless about 8PM then about 10 he started talking funny. He talked to my suister until about 2:15 then she told him she would be OK & he just stopped breathing. This is the end I would like to have. Being able to talk to people until the end then just close my eyes & stop. He is finnally out of pain & at peace.

I'm sorry for your loss. As well, I'd like my remaining hours to be peaceful, talking to a loved one. Your sister seems to be a strong woman. My thoughts are with you all.
