If you have been watching the Inauguration today, the young Air Force Officer , ( Sgt Bennett)that sang the National Athem is from Kent Ohio!!!!!!! This is the first time any member of the Air Force has sung for any National Event. AND, "TBDBITL" is in the parade today!!!!! Now if you are a true Buckeye, you will know what the letters stand for. But for those who don't, it's what the Ohio State Marching Band is refered to around the country " The Best D%#n Band in the Land!!!!!" AND THEY ARE!!!!! GO OSU SCARLETT & GRAY!!!!!! |

Sewhappie Ohio was spotlighted because you guys are the swing state that gave Bush the victory! This is funny because we were discussing Ohio and the Secretary of State finally telling the Democrats to get the H*&*&(( out of Ohio because there wasn't going to be any more recounting. The State of Oklahoma is embroiled in the U.S. Supreme Court over our primary election laws. Our Assistant Attorney General that argued the case for Oklahoma yesterday more or less told the Supremes to keep their noses out of Oklahoma's election laws until they were asked for their opinion on the same. However, we shall have to wait until they get around to issuing an opinion on the case. Patsy Patsy

Funny thing. I was watching a film clip of the Bush family at the church early (first stop for the day). The film caught "Baby" Bush and Laura as the offering plate was passed. He reached over his shoulder and someone behind him passed him some money for the plate. (Which I thought was pretty funny). It got even funnier when the camera panned out and you realized the person who gave him the bill was "Daddy" Bush. I thought...yep, 58 years old and still getting money from Mom and Dad. (Wonder if my kids will do that?)
