How many of you have seen the picture of the "Dress" that Mrs Trump #3 will be wearing? They are saying that is cost $100,000 to make!!! There is something like 300 yards in it, let alone the 500+ hrs of hand embroidery and crystals and pearls!!!!

Would you spend that kind of money on a Wedding Dress?

I have seen it. Of course I would not spend that much on a wedding dress but she has big bucks and will have carte blanche with this event. (sigh) Lives of the rich and famous. I can only imagine.

I would have LOVED to see them put it together, now that would have been "the event" to me.

It weighs 50 lbs. and has a 16 foot veil. Twenty-eight seamstresses worked on this dress for Christian Dior.

The ring is $1.5 million and 13 carats. Free to "the Donald" I might add. :re:

Imagine all the revenues from this free advertisement  Money attracts money I guess. I'd sell the dress and get myself a comfortable little cottage on the waterfront.

I have also heard that after the first dance Milania will be changing out of the "Dior" dress and into a "Vera Wang" for the rest of the wedding.
Now THAT dress, I would pay an arm and a leg for anyday, I LOVE VERA WANG!!!!!

Bet you see Milania's wedding dress on Ebay!!!!!

I think the whole thing is tacky...I find it amazing that people can spend that much money on nothing..whenever I see/hear of people spending thousands or hundreds of thousands on a wedding or a party, I always think of the charity work that can be done instead....why not take MOST of that money and do something for OTHER people...it must be nice to be able to make a spectacle of yourself....

Well, I don't mean to burst anybody's bubble but I'm pretty sure charity and other worthy causes are part of The Donald's life. I watched the apprentice last night and at the end, while the winners were having dinner, one participant was asking: Is it true that once, you were stuck on the highway and someone stopped to help and about 1 week later the deed to his house was paid in full? He answered yes and was very humble about it. The media kinda of shows you everything that is flamboyant and very often omits what is really important.

Dede, if he really does that sort of thing, kudos to him. I agree, the media builds reputations that aren't necessarily deserved.

I saw on the TV tonight that they are asking that no one give them gifts, but to donate the money to the "Tsunami Relief Effort".
