Hi there!
If anyone is interested, I found a simple, free, reversible, serger quilt pattern at this site. I am going to try it! Perhaps someone else will get serger quilting along with me.

Kaye's Quilting also had a show about serger quilting, I have one partly done. Instead of all vertical strips you do 3 vertical and then 2 horizontal on each end, then back to 1 vertical on each end, back to horizontal on the ends, on & on like that, it is looking pretty neat. I started with 6 x 18 inch strips but I guess you could do any size.
