Hi, I am new to this forum, as well as knitting. I have been knitting scarves using only a knit stitch. I would like to know how to do the drop stitch. Can anyone help me? :nc:

I'm not for sure what you mean by Drop Stitch? I did a scarf from a pattern this past fall, that called for dropping stiches at the end of the scarf while binding off. Then you pulled those "dropped" stitches all the way to the beginning of the scarf. It then gave it a more lacy and elegant look. I gave it too my oldest daughter for Xmas. She loved it. Is this what you are asking about? Please give more info.
Happy sewing/quilting/crafting
Liz
